The timing of when you receive your first Manitoba Hydro bill after your move can vary significantly due to move processing time and set billing cycle dates for your new property.
For most customers, your online account will be created once your move has been fully processed by Manitoba Hydro, which can take up to 14 days after your possession date. Following processing, your bill will be issued on the property’s typical billing cycle which is set by the location of the property. Most customers will receive their first bill 15-45 days following their possession date. Following that first bill, a new bill will be issued monthly for non-seasonal residential customers.
